I love this idea. So few of us actually need more things, but receiving thoughtful words from someone you like/love just seems like something you'd treasure forever.

I agree, Marci! So, will you send a few handwritten notes or letters this year? :)

I'm definitely inspired! We got all these Christamssy stamps last year to make our own hand-stamped gift tags... I'm thinking hand-stamped cards might be the project this year!

I love this idea - I actually paint cards in watercolour, so will be using those.

Love that idea! I bought some blank postcards from the art store that you can paint or draw on. I recently used one as a thank you card and tried to sketch the gift (a candle) on the front. It was quite fun and relaxing! What types of things/scenes do you paint on your cards?

Handmade cards just makes everything more personal. I mainly do flowers and birds - especially european robins. They are just so cute and the colours work well for Christmas.

Sounds lovely! And I agree, it's so much more personal.

BRILLIANT idea and so lovely! We live half the year on the Maine coast; so I often find cards that are paintings of local scenes. Don’t have a link…

Thanks, Debbie! It's not groundbreaking, for sure, but I'm excited to start sending more letters! Paintings of local scenes sound great! I like to pick up postcards or blank greeting cards like that when I travel.

We just picked up our family's holiday cards. I'm not sure where we sourced them. One of the many places where you can create a personalized card online. I love the tradition of sending cards for the holidays.

I think it’s really nice too! I’ve just never been much of a sender, but hoping to pick up the habit for holidays or just whenever! 📫
